MARKLEVILLE — The second Markleville Antique Tractor Pull of the 2018 season took place Saturday, July 7, at Markleville Park.
Weigh-in began at 9 a.m., and the pull began at 11 a.m.
There were more than a dozen events in a variety of divisions, with the cost to compete in events ranging from $20 to $25. Half of the entry fee for each class is paid back to the first four places.
The weight description for each class is how much the tractor weighs. Pullers must put weights on their tractor and go to a scale before each class to make sure they are not overweight.

The miles per hour listed for each class is the top speed they can go during the pull. If drivers exceed that speed, they get disqualified. The distances of the pulls are in feet.
Other pulls this year are set for Saturdays Aug. 4 and Sept. 1.
