PENDLETON
James (Jim) Keesling, 61, of Pendleton, passed away, July 20, 2018, at his residence in Pendleton, IN. He was born, November 22, 1956, in Anderson and resided most of his life in Pendleton.
Jim graduated from Pendleton Heights High School in 1975.
He owned and successfully operated Keesling Farms located in Pendleton his entire life.
He drove a school bus for Pendleton schools for many years. He was a part of the management team at Klipsch Music Center for many years. He was also a Volunteer Fire Fighter for the Adams Township Fire Department.
Jim is survived by his loving wife, Sandy (Sandefur) Keesling of Pendleton, IN, a precious daughter Lindsey (Matt) Shaffer of Pendleton, a beloved grandson, Ellis James Shaffer of Pendleton, aunt Nora Harris of Anderson and a brother in law, Scott Sandefur of CA. He was also survived by a sister, 3 nieces, a nephew and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Keesling, mother, Beverly Keesling and a infant brother.
Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 25, 2018, at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, Anderson, IN.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, July 26, 2018, at the funeral home with Rev. Gary Meeker officiating.
Burial will take place in the Mechanicsburg Cemetery, Mechanicsburg, IN.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Adams Township Fire Department.
