Lapel boys tennis enters sectional with momentum

LAPEL — Lapel faced three teams in the Eastern Hancock tennis invitational Sept. 22 and came away the clear and undefeated winner.

The Bulldogs scored 35 against Eastern Hancock’s 12, Oldenburg Academy’s 5 and Blackford’s 5.

All team members went undefeated for the day.

The Bulldogs also defeated Hamilton Heights 5-0 on Sept. 18 and are 14-5 for the season.

Sectional play was set to start Wednesday, Sept. 26 (after press time), with the Bulldogs taking on host Anderson.
