LAPEL — The Lapel High School Music Department will present its annual Christmas show at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 12, in the auditorium.

The Concert Band, Jazz Band, Show Choir and Concert Choir will perform holiday music.

Both traditional and pop music will be represented by the instrumentalists and choirs.

The Concert Band will play “Sleigh Ride,” and the choirs will combine to sing Handel’s “Hallelujah Chorus.”

Other highlights will include “There Is A Santa Claus” by the show choir, “Have a Holly Jolly Christmas” by the high school choir, "Jingle Bells" by the jazz band and a number featuring familiar Christmas songs “a la big band” by the Concert Band.

Between the group numbers, there will be some solos, a little group singalong and some Christmas music trivia.

Admission for the show is $5 for adults; students and children are admitted free. Show choir passes may not be used for this concert.
