Featured pets: Pistol and Julip
Type: Cats
Breed: Domestic short-haired
Genders: Male, female
Age: Both turn 3 in the spring
Description: This week’s featured animals come as a pair. Pistol takes a minute to warm up to new people; he’s sweet, loving and quiet but definitely lives up to his name. His sister, Julip, is loving, sweet and just wants to be snuggled. They came to the organization as kittens and were adopted together. Julip and Pistol later came back after the owner could no longer keep them. Both are UTD on vaccines and spayed/neutered, FIV/FELV-, litter-box trained and microchipped.
Friends For Paws became a 501c3 not-for-profit organization in 2012 and is run solely on donations.
People can donate to Friends For Paws at P.O. Box 336, Pendleton IN 46064, or to Pendleton Vet Clinic for future services.
Kellie Borgman and Angie Webster started Friends For Paws in October 2011 to help control the stray pet population in Pendleton. It has been supported by the Pendleton Town Council, Pendleton Police Department, and multiple donors and local organizations. All animals are evaluated, vetted and put up for adoption.
