Swim, dive team awards presented at banquet

PENDLETON — The Pendleton Heights swimming and diving teams presented season awards at their banquet March 11.

The girls went undefeated in dual meets and placed fourth in the sectional.

The 200-yard medley relay team of Lily Brooks, Katie Wheetley, Emma Robison and Karly Riffey were honored for setting a new school record.

Riffey was also named MVP.

Brooks was named to the All-Hoosier Heritage Conference team, and Wheetley was named to the All-HHC Academic team.

Alexis Sutton was named the Spirit Award winner, and Maddie Cougill and Grace McKinney were named the Mental Attitude award winners.

Boys results

The boys team placed fifth at sectional.

Cameron Kordes and Evan Fredericks were named co-MVPs.

Connor Dunn was given the Spirit Award and named to the All-HHC Academic team. Cole Robison was named the Mental Attitude award winner.
