MADISON COUNTY — Indiana Department of Transportation planned to close the bridge over Mud Creek on State Road 38 for a complete replacement beginning this week.

The bridge will be closed in both the eastbound and westbound lanes. No traffic will be able to pass over the bridge during construction.

Construction is scheduled to be complete at the end of June.
