LAPEL — The Lapel baseball team dropped both games of a doubleheader April 5.

While a home game for the Bulldogs, the game event was moved to Grant Park in Westfield because of the conditions.

The Bulldogs lost to Forest Hills Eastern out of Ada, Michigan, 4-3 and 13-0

In the first game, Lapel held a 3-2 lead until the Hawks scored two runs in the final inning.

After this week’s Nick Muller Tournament, the Bulldogs return to regular play, traveling to Monroe Central April 15 and hosting Eastern Hancock April 17.

The Bulldogs are 2-2 on the season.
