PENDLETON — Winners were announced recently in the Pendleton Heights Senior Art Show at Gallery 119.

Jaycie Haywood won first place for her work “In Her Shoes.”

Lauren Rainey took second place with her ceramic heart “Calavera Negra,” while Rae Lee took third with “Lake.”

Honorable Mentions were awarded to Rainey for her photo “Preservation;” John Paez for “Drip Portrait of Migrant Mother;” Hunter Pardini for photo “Trail of Many Endings;” Kasey Ronk for photo “Story Time;” Casey Luthman for “Idyllic Entanglement;” Haywood for photo “Pennsylvania;” Jaden Wenning for photo “Miniature Breach;” and Gracie Criswell for photo “Happily Ever After.”

Judge for the show was James Jackson.

South Madison Community Foundation provided the $500 award for first place, while Tri Kappa awarded $200 for second place and $100 for third place.

The show is on display at the gallery at 119 W. State St., Pendleton, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays through April 24.
