INDIANAPOLIS — Pendleton Heights High School student Jasmine Barnes recently served as a page to State Rep. Bob Cherry (R-Greenfield) at the Statehouse.

House pages tour the governor’s office, the House and Senate chambers, and the Indiana Supreme Court. They also help staff with their daily tasks and meet with Cherry to learn more about the legislative process.

Students between the ages of 13 to 18 who are interested in paging this legislative session can learn more at www.indianahouserepublicans.com/pageprogram.

Participants receive an excused absence from school, and groups can request to page together.

State Rep. Bob Cherry (R-Greenfield) represents House District 53, which includes portions of Hancock and Madison counties.
