LAPEL — Lapel High School Music Department will present its annual Variety Show at 7 p.m. Saturday, May 18, in the school auditorium.

All high school music groups will perform in addition to various solos, duets and small ensembles.

Some of the highlights will include the High School Choir singing and dancing to a medley of Disney “showstoppers.”

The girls ensemble will perform a medley from “Hannah Montana: The Movie.”

The high school band will present part of its St. Patrick’s Day Parade routine plus selections from “The Greatest Showman.”

The jazz band, another crowd favorite, will open the second half of the show after intermission with “Jumpin’ At the Woodside,” a Count Basie jazz classic.

Selections from “Mamma Mia!” will be the show choir’s contribution to the evening’s entertainment.

Between the large ensembles, individual numbers will add variety and contrast.

The evening’s host will be Ryan Tirre, a Lapel High School graduate who lives in New York City. He will keep things running smoothly with his unique humor and some unexpected twists.

Admission costs $5 for adults and $3 for students. There are no advance-sale tickets; all tickets will be sold at the door.
