A shout out
This is a shout out to Lowe’s employees and the town of Pendleton employees and volunteers.
After the storm in Pendleton my husband and I were out in the yard raking and using a chain saw.
Suddenly a group of employees from Lowe’s in Anderson came into our yard and said they were here to help. They hauled away branches my husband was cutting with a chain saw. They were here at least an hour.
A little later a gentleman came to me from his car and said he noticed our shingles looked a little loose. He said that he had a great adhesive and would check them out if I wished.
I said, “Sure.”
He climbed up and when he came down told me our shingles were good. I asked him what we owed him, and he said nothing.
I took a ride around the next day and couldn’t believe what I saw. I had never seen so many chain saws at work made up of town employees and volunteers.
I have always believed in angels. I have met some, but that day I met many more.
God bless each one of them.
