PENDLETON — To aid with local tornado recovery, Luehrs’ Ideal Rides and Pendleton Lions Club presented checks to Pendleton Parks Department just before the start of the 2019 June Jamboree.

To represent the 51 years the Luehrs family has been involved with the jamboree, the check donated was for $5,100.

The Pendleton Lions Club check was for $5,000.

The June Jamboree, in its 53rd year, ran from Tuesday, June 4, to Saturday, June 8, at Falls Park.
