Madison County Fair begins Sunday

ALEXANDRIA — The Madison County 4-H Fair is scheduled for July 21 to 28 at Beulah Park in Alexandria.

This year’s fair will include the usual showcase of achievements and talents of county youth involved in 4-H programs, as well as entertainment, music, carnival rides and games.

Sunday, July 21

2 p.m. — 2019 4-H Fair Parade

4 p.m. — Prizes from the Sky (ages 5-10)

4:30 p.m. — Prizes from the Sky (ages 1-4)

7:30 p.m. — Queen contest

Monday, July 22

Noon — Food concessions open

1 to 10 p.m. — Home Show Building and outside displays open

5 p.m. to close — Burton Brothers Amusements

7:30 p.m. — The Bulldogs (’50s, ’60s and, ’70s)

Tuesday, July 23

Noon to 11 p.m. — Food concessions open

1 to 10 p.m. — Home Show Building and outside displays open

5 p.m. to close — Burton Brothers Amusements

7:30 p.m. — John Gilmore (Bluegrass)

Wednesday, July 24

Noon to 11 p.m. — Food concessions open
