PENDLETON — Twenty-three Pendleton Juvenile Correctional Facility students were honored at the Providence Jr./Sr. High School graduation on Tuesday, July 30, and Wednesday, July 31.

Staff, students and families celebrated the work and dedication of each student, and the ceremonies included encouraging words by class valedictorians and salutatorians and guest speakers, and and recognition of the students’ commitments to their education.

“Our teachers and education staff do an amazing job each day to ensure our students receive the best instruction that we can offer,” Providence Jr./Sr. High School Principal Chris Stilwell said. “To have such a large number of graduates certainly illustrates the terrific work and genuine care taking place in our classrooms.”

Students and their families were welcomed by staff at a reception with hors d’oeuvres, graduation cake and the opportunity to remember the milestone at the 2019 graduate photo booth.
