Thank you again, Town of Pendleton!

On Sunday, July 14, the Heroes Foundation returned to Pendleton’s Falls Park with our annual Heroes Crit & Fit Day.

In total, nearly 300 cyclists from 20 states and the District of Columbia took part in the highly competitive cycling competition.

Hundreds of family members, friends and spectators cheered on the riders and took advantage of the Fit Day vendors, participated in health screenings, received information about cancer prevention, took their children to the Heroes Fun Zone, or enjoyed the food vendors and beer garden.

We cannot begin to express our thanks to the Town of Pendleton for their Hoosier Hospitality in welcoming so many visitors to your community.

In particular, we would like to acknowledge the following individuals for their assistance in the planning and execution of the day: Jessica Smith from the Pendleton Town Council; Denise McKee from the Pendleton Parks Department; Kayla Hassett and Jeff Barger from the Town of Pendleton; and Jason Keller.

Special thanks to Community Hospital of Anderson for their sponsorship support.

In addition, we truly appreciate the partnership we received from The Stable, Yummerful, Pendleton Kiwanis, Hot Diggity Dog, Indiana Blood Center, Pink Ribbon Connection and the Cancer Support Community.

On behalf of the staff, board of directors and volunteers who serve the Heroes Foundation, we thank you for your warmth, attendance and support.

With gratitude,

Elizabeth Ellis
