Chistmas in Pendleton art show

PENDLETON — The Pendleton Artists Society’s “Christmas in Pendleton” art show opened recently at Gallery 119 in Pendleton with the announcement of winners.

The show will continue through November at Gallery 119 located at 119 W. State Street in downtown Pendleton.

The following winners were decided by show judge Ann Johnson:

• First place: “Sentinelle” by Sherry Boram, textile

• Second place: “Moon Marigolds by Janet Trisher, alcohol ink on yupa

• Third place: “Good Fetch Dad” by Judy Crist, watercolor

Honorable Mentions went to: Lyn Rockwell for watercolor “Fall Day;” Diana Darling for acyrlic work “Petite Pears;” Susan Fullen for photo “Looking For A Runway;” Barry Gray for graphite work “Bandit;” Tamara Magers for acrylic work “Tropical Christmas;” Glen Wilson for watercolor “Clinch River Homestead;” and Janet Trishner for “Christmas Shopping.”

People’s Choice awards, decided by votes cast during the show open house, went to Sharon Wymer for her acrylic work “Winter Bison” and Lyn Rockwell for his watercolor “Fall Day.”
