Pendleton Heights senior lineman Cade Campbell was named to the The Associated Press Class 4A All-State football team.

Campbell, a 6-foot, 6-inch senior offensive lineman, was also chosen to the Indiana Football Coaches Association Class 4A Senior All-State team last month.

Campbell helped lead the Arabians to an appearance in the Class 4A Sectional 21 championship game and a 7-5 season. He helped make room for the Arabians’ stellar running attack that rushed for 2,538 yards (211.5 yards per game) and 42 total touchdowns.

In December, Campbell committed to play football next season at the University of Indianapolis.

Lapel had three players receive honorable mention on the AP Class 2A All-State football team.

Bulldogs selected were quarterback Cole Alexander and wide receivers Tanner Mroz and Charlie Prough.

Both Alexander and Mroz were part of IFCA teams, too. Alexander — who has committed to play next season at NCAA Division II Franklin Pierce, located in Rindge, New Hampshire — was selected to the IFCA Class 2A Senior All-State team. Alexander (6-2, 205) threw for 1,816 yards (201.8 per game) and 18 touchdowns. He rushed for 420 yards and 10 touchdowns.

Mroz (5-10, 195) was selected to the IFCA Class 2A Junior All-State team. He had 36 catches for 566 yards and five touchdowns.

Prough (6-0, 180), a senior, led the Bulldogs with 46 catches for 874 yards and 10 touchdowns.
