Lucky Duck race will be a dry run

PENDLETON — The Friends of the Pendleton Community Library Lucky Duck Race will take place virtually this year with a random drawing to determine winners.

The Lucky Duck event, which helps support programs at Pendleton Community Public Library, raises funds through $5 entries sold at the library, 595 E. Water St., and a few local businesses.

In prior years, donations came with a rubber duck used in a race in Fall Creek.

This year, Lucky Duck winners will be announced Sept. 14. Prizes include cash awards of $150, $100 and $75.

A random selection from sponsor entries will determine who will name the Lucky Duck mascot.
