ANDERSON — For the first time in five years, United Way of Madison County will not only meet its current year goal of raising $600,000 but has surpassed it by raising more than $700,000.
This success is the result of individual and business giving.
In addition, the agency added $800,000 in COVID-specific support through a grant from Indiana United Ways and the Lilly Endowment, and another $125,000 from outside grants to its community support.
The total is more than $1.6 million invested into Madison County through United Way.
