PENDLETON — Pendleton Elementary School performed “The Jungle Book” on stage recently.

Dozens of students participated in the production, including Hudson Kistler as Mowgli, Britlyn Butts as Bagheera, Corbyn Armour as Baloo, Truitt Wolf as Shere Khan, Emerson Tetrault as King Louie, and Briella Conway with Rosie Hauser, Zoey Wright, Addie Bastin, Ella Lukens and Addison Friesen as Kaa and his coils.

Other actors included: Kinley Coffman (Shanti); Lucas Heiden (Colonel Hathi); Myra Long, Lena Davis, Aiden Cookston, Macie Medler, Tenley Hodges (jungle); Danity Simmons, Hannah Ragan, Mason Young, Lincoln Ecker and Stella Maves (wolves); Danity Simmons, Hannah Ragan, Mason Young, Lincoln Ecker, Stella Maves (elephants); Adam Wandel (baby elephant); Julia Walls (silly monkey); Hadley Hensley (sassy monkey); Kolton Mountain (grumpy monkey); Elijah Martin (old monkey); Corey Moll, Macy Welsh, Zoey Nichols, Alene Shrode, Archer Hupfer and Sophia Rhodes (monkeys); Colson Hunckler (Dizzy); and Cayden Hunckler (Izzy).

“The Vines” Chorus included Summer Estes, Emma Farley, Izabella Hartill, Hannah Kellam, Miah Mahoney, Addisyn Niedbalski, Phoenix Renner, Jessica Sallee, Mackenzie Scherzinger and Rebekah Walker.
