Anderson-based contractor E & B Paving will improve local roads according to the following tentative schedule:
Aug. 8-12: Indiana Avenue, Clark Street, Mill Street, Taylor Street, Franklin Street, Canterbury Street, Asbury Street and Oxford Street — work to be conducted during the day
Aug. 15-19: Old State Road 132, Adams Street and High Street — work to be conducted during the day
Aug. 29-31: State Street (from Main Street to railroad viaduct) — work to be conducted at night
Sept. 6 – Oct. 22: Pendleton Avenue (from railroad crossing to State Road 67) — probable lane restrictions during construction as well as extended road closure (roughly three weeks)
Dates are weather dependent.
According to the town, E & B Paving will communicate scheduled paving dates and updates to residents along each roadway.
The town also said residents might experience “limited inconvenience” during the days of the scheduled paving.
