PENDLETON — Town of Pendleton is seeking people interested in serving on town boards and commissions.

An informational meeting is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 29, at Town Hall, 100 W. State St., which also will be accessible via Zoom.

Information on the various boards and commissions will be provided, and staff and elected officials will be available to answer questions.

The boards and commissions with terms expiring include:

• Board of Zoning Appeals

• Parks and Recreation Board

• Plan Commission

• Historic Preservation Commission

• Redevelopment Commission

• Redevelopment Authority

• Utility Rate Advisory Board

• Board of Stormwater Management

• Waterworks Board

• Impact Fee Review Board

• Fall Creek Regional Waste

Boards and commissions usually meet once per month; terms vary between one to four years.

People interested in serving should submit an application, with resume or cover letter, to [email protected]. Deadline is Dec. 5

Applications are available on the town website or at Town Hall.
