PENDLETON — Pendleton Heights High School’s theater group The Pendleton Players recently presented a three-show run of “All Shook Up.”

The story involved several romances and featured dozens of Elvis Presley songs, set in a small town.

“The story is basically how a guitar-playing roustabout rides into a square little town in a square little state and changes everything and everyone he meets with his hip-swiveling, lip-curling singing,” Artistic and Technical Director Jacque Brown wrote in a preview.

“The show is loosely based on Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night with a twisted love story at the center,” she added.
