SOUTH MADISON COUNTY — Christmas was celebrated throughout local schools this month in the lead-up to the holiday break, with several musical and dramatic productions at various grade levels.

South Madison Community School Corp.’s last day of instruction before break was Friday, Dec. 16, with classes resuming Jan. 3. Frankton-Lapel Community Schools dismissed Tuesday, Dec. 20, and are back in session Jan. 5.
