INDIANAPOLIS–The Lapel girls’ golf team visited Old Oakland Golf Course Tuesday evening and came away the victory in a four-team event.

Junior Kristen Hobbs continued her outstanding play early in the season, earning medalist honors with a 42, leading the way as Lapel posted a team score of 205, seven shots clear of the field.

Cardinal Ritter was second with a 212, followed by the host Lawrence Central with a 227 and Knightstown with a 259.

Junior Lauren Lutz posted a 48 for Lapel and senior Bridget Mudd came in with a 55. Freshman Sierra Campbell rounded out the Bulldog scoring with a 60.

Lapel will next hit the links Saturday afternoon at The Edge in Anderson at 1 p.m. for the 2017 Madison County meet.
