Pendleton Heights netters knock off Frankton

FRANKTON–The Pendleton Heights boys’ tennis team went on the road Wednesday and came away with a 4-1 win against the Eagles.
Walker Stull won the No. 2 singles match over Andrew Hartley 6-0, 7-5 and Kaleb Alumbaugh knocked off Brad Riser 6-4, ,6-3 in the No. 3 matchup.
Seth Moore and Jackson McKinney teamed up to beat Joe Morgan and Cameron Klabunde in the No. 1 doubles match 2-6, 6-3, 6-3 while Caleb King and Jack Long rolled in the No. 2 doubles match 6-1, 6-3 over Brandon Carper and Dalton Saylor.
The lone casualty for the Arabians was No. 1 singles player Drew Wilson who dropped a three-set match to Landon Weins 6-4, 1-6, 3-6.
Pendleton Heights (1-0) will play their first home match of the year Thursday at 4:30 p.m. when they host Hamilton Heights.
