INDIANAPOLIS–Junior Kristen Hobbs was six shots clear of the field Wednesday as Lapel placed first in a three-team meet.
Hobbs fired a 39 at Smock Golf Course as the Bulldogs shot 209 as a team, edging Beech Grove with a 212 and Franklin Central’s 216.
The second best round of the day was a 45 turned in by the top player for Franklin Central.
Junior Lauren Lutz shot a 51 for the Bulldogs and senior Makena Mason came in with a 59. Senior Bridget Mudd and freshman Sierra Campbell each finished with a round of 60 for the Bulldogs.
