PENDLETON — Put Dr. Seuss, paint, cookies and kids together and a good time is assured to be had by all in attendance.
Students at East Elementary School learned new art skills recently when educators offered a Dr. Seuss Cookies and Canvas event for their kindergartners.
An artist, Kim Gibson from Paint Party Parlor in New Castle, came to the school and worked with the students through one of their favorite book characters, Dr. Seuss.

The students were able to eat Dr. Seuss designed cookies while they worked on their painting skills creating Cat in the Hat pictures.
