Jan Kocher of Lapel does a little spring cleaning of a bird feeder at home recently. Kocher, who has several feeders, said she enjoys watching birds from a picture window of her home, when she’s not reading or doing crossword puzzles. “I’m retired, so I don’t have much else to do,” she said.
