LAPEL — Heading into the final few games of the regular season, Lapel girls basketball sits at 12-7 after a win and loss in recent hardwood action.

The Bulldogs picked up a win against visiting Knightstown 79-46 on Jan. 8.

Four Bulldogs scored in double figures. Kylie Rich scored 17, and Makynlee Taylor had 16 points and seven rebounds for the night. Morgan Knepp had 13 points, and Delany Peoples had 11. Paige Rich had six rebounds.

At Shenandoah Jan. 10, the Bulldogs fell in overtime 52-45. Knepp had 13 points and six steals, while Peoples had 13 points, eight rebounds and four assists.

The Bulldogs edged Pendleton Heights 63-59 in overtime on Jan. 15 and are on the road for the final two games of the regular season, Jan. 17 at Muncie Central and Jan. 22 at Wapahani, with 7:30 p.m. tipoffs.
