PENDLETON — Madison County Council of Governments (MCCOG) conducted a public meeting Thursday, Jan. 17, at Gallery 119 in Pendleton to discuss the group’s county comprehensive plan.

The meeting — during which a handful or residents and MCCOG representatives spoke about the economy, transportation, quality-of-life issues and more — is part of a series of talks taking place around the county to receive input as the plan is updated to serve as a guide through 2035.

MCCOG is a regional planning organization funded in part by Pendleton, Anderson, Daleville and Elwood, along with Madison County.
