ANDERSON — One hundred eighty-five students attended Lapel High School prom Saturday, April 27, at The Paramount Theatre Centre & Ballroom in Anderson.

The theme for the event was “The Greatest Showman,” and attendees entered the venue with their names being announced and a walk along the red carpet.

Prom lasted from 8 to 11 p.m. with dancing, refeshments and the crowning of the queen and king, Josie Moore and Brandon Wood.

Festivities continued from midnight to 3 a.m. at a post-prom event at Incrediplex in Lawrence, including food, raffles and gift-card giveaways.

Pendleton Heights’ prom is set for 8 to 11 p.m. Saturday, May 4, at Fountain Square Theater in Indianapolis. Post prom will follow at the high school.
