PENDLETON — A screening of the documentary “EVA: A-7063,” is set for 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 27, at Pendleton Community Public Library, 595 E. Water St.

“The Pendleton Community Library is honored to be one of many Indiana libraries participating in the commemoration and celebration of the life of Eva Kor, by hosting a screening of the film ‘Eva: A-7063,’” library outreach specialist Kristen Case wrote in a press release.

Jan. 27 marks the 75th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz, the most notorious concentration camp in the Holocaust.

Kor was a survivor of Auschwitz, and went on to be a world-renowned ambassador for hope, healing and humanity. She was a resident of Terre Haute for 59 years prior to her death July 4.

“Eva: A-7063” is a 2018 film produced by Indiana filmmaker Ted Green, Mika Brown and WFYI, an Indianapolis’ PBS station.

Refreshments will be offered beginning at 5:30 p.m.
