ALEXANDRIA
Philip L. Huff, 71, (July 12, 1948- March 13, 2020) of Alexandria, died at his residence after an extended illness.
He was born July 12, 1948 to Loren E. and Wanda Albarta (Waitman) Huff.
He worked production at Delco Remy 30 years before retiring Jan. 1, 1999. He was a
member and former president of Fraternal Order of Eagles in Anderson where he was
bartender and involved in many activities before transferring to the Alexandria Eagles.
He was a bailiff in Alexandria City Court. He collected coins and enjoyed doing yard
work and telling jokes.
He is survived by his three children, Deborah Foley of Anderson; David (Marie) Snead
of Pendleton and Karen Sears of Pendleton; sister, Nancy Butler of Anderson and
brother, Andre John (Tammy) Huff of Fishers; numerous grand, great-grandchildren;
nieces and nephews and two great-great-grandchildren; best friend, Jerry Buckner of
Anderson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Judith “Judy”; Huff on November 3,
2019; son, Jimmy “Bo” ; Snead; four siblings, Judy Carr, Connie Sue Huff, Patty Huff
and Larry Huff.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 19, 2020 at Rozelle-
Johnson Funeral Service in the West end with Rev. Jim Harrison officiating.
Burial will follow at Bronnenberg Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour before the
service Thursday.
Memorial contributions may be given to Madison County Humane Society.
