MADISON COUNTY — Steve Wallace recently celebrated 40 years as a songwriter.
He has written more than 200 songs and won 70 different awards.
Wallace is pictured with Rick Dawson receiving a special award in 2014 for his song “Anderson Speedway,” the official theme song of the race track.
“This was by far the best award I have ever received,” he said after receiving the award.
