PENDLETON — Scores of auto enthusiasts entered about 170 vehicles in Kiwanis Kar Show 2020, which took place Saturday in Falls Park.

“We had 143 registered cars and probably another 30 or so that were not registered,” organizer John Shull said.

Awards were presented in a variety of categories.

Sidney Hiatt won Best of Show for his 1955 Buick Century, which he’s spent the past three years working on.

Brendan Holford won People’s Choice with his 2013 scion FR-S.

Tom and Connie Bryant won Best Dodge for a 1919 Dodge Touring (Rat Rod), which they’ve owned for four years and took a year and a half to build.

According to Kiwanian Bill Hutton, the organization served 1,140 of its well-known hamburgers, called K-burgers, during the event. The burgers were given away without charge, and the leftover 120 patties and 400 buns were donated to the Methodist Church food pantry in Ingalls.
