PENDLETON — Early voting began this week at Pendleton Community Public Library, 595 E. Water St., and voting has been heavy there as it has been across the county, state and country.

Monday was the first day to cast a ballot in town, and the opportunity will be available through Saturday. Remaining early voting hours are noon to 6 p.m. today, Thursday, Oct. 29, and Friday, Oct. 30, and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31.

In Madison County, early voting has been possible for weeks in Room 108 of Madison County Courthouse, 16 E. Ninth St., Anderson.
