Iron Horse team scoops up 34 placements

Iron Horse Martial Arts competed in the AAU Taekwondo Ohio State Championship located in Akron.

The championship hosted record high more than 500 competitors with 10 Iron Horse team member’s competing in point-sparring, Olympic sparring, breaking boards, poomsae and weapons.

Iron Horse athletes earned 14 first-place finishes, 13 second places and seven third-places.

All of the team have qualified for the AAU National Taekwondo Championship set for the MGM Grand in Las Vegas in July.

The team will compete in Indiana’s State Championships this season completing the AAU regional circuit along with participating in various local tournaments and training camps.
