ANDERSON — Hundreds of students attended the Lapel High School prom on Saturday at The Paramount Theatre Centre and Ballroom in Anderson.
About 240 students turned out for the event, according to teacher and prom co-organizer Derek DeSpain.
“Prom went well. There was music, dancing and tons of pictures taken,” DeSpain said in an email. “The kids seemed to enjoy themselves.”
Lijah Hudson and Layla Stohler were crowned king and queen.
Other members of the prom court were Mason King, Sadie Bolinger, Myleigh Carpenter, Alex Tippmann, Maryn Landis and Nick Witte.

The theme for this year’s prom was “The Golden Age of Hollywood.”
A post-prom event took place at Adrenaline Family Adventure Park in Fishers.
