PENDLETON — Pendleton Historical Museum conducted its Christmas open house on Sunday, Dec. 3.

There were pictures with Santa, refreshments, crafts, and music by The Silver Strummers dulcimer players.

Nancy Noel, president of the museum board, estimated about 80 people came through.

The next events planned for the museum will be the Second Sunday Speaker Series from January to April.

Speakers for the series will be announced early next year. The talks will take place from 2 to 4 p.m. on the second Sunday of the month at the museum.

The museum is currently closed for the winter. It reopens May 4 for regular hours, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays, and 1 to 5 p.m. Sundays.

People can schedule tours year-‘round by calling 765-778-7931.
