PENDLETON–The Pendleton Heights senior and top singles player picked up his first individual win of the season and the Arabians remained unbeaten with a 4-1 win over Muncie Burris.

Drew Wilson defeated Carson Adams 6-1, 6-2 in the No. 1 match to lead a singles sweep, his first win in three tries this season.

Walker Stull won in the No. 2 match over Andrew Combs 6-1, 6-3 and Kaleb Alumbaugh rolled past Thomas Zeller 6-0, 6-1 in the No. 3 match.

In doubles play, Caleb King and Evan Smith recovered from a first set loss and knocked off Ethan Nguyen and Evan Jennejohn 4-6, 6-1, 6-4 in the No. 2 match.

The only loss for the Arabians came in the No. 1 doubles match when Seth Moore and Jackson McKinney fell to Mason Waldron and Matthew Litt 6-7 (5-7), 3-6.

Pendleton Heights (3-0) will begin Madison County tournament play Wednesday at 5 p.m. at Highland Middle school against Anderson High School.
