LAPEL — Frankton-Lapel Community Schools sets its mission statement and expectations for educators and students each year.
District leaders’ mission statement: They’re committed to providing all students with educational opportunities and programs in a safe learning environment to meet their intellectual, physical, social and emotional needs.
School leaders have set forth four main expectations: Students are to be provided a safe, caring and positive learning environment; students are expected to read at their grade level; students are expected to achieve one year of grade level growth; and students should be college and career ready at the completion of high school.
