PENDLETON — A misty rain forced the cancellation of the Pendleton Heights boys tennis match with Noblesville on Sept. 24.
However, the team was able to make up a rain date with Hamilton Heights on Sept. 20.
The Arabians came out on top 5-0.
State-ranked Delta downed the visiting Arabians 7-0 on Sept. 19, but the visiting New Castle Trojans fell to Pendleton Heights 4-1 on Sept. 18.
Prior to the match, the Arabians celebrated Senior Night, honoring Walker Stull, Seth Moore, Evan Smith and David Bailey.
With a 4-3 conference record, the Arabians finished Hoosier Heritage Conference play.
Overall, the team was 8-5 heading into sectional play Wednesday, Sept. 26 (after press time), at Mt. Vernon.
They were scheduled to play the host Marauders in the opening match. Earlier in the season, the Marauders defeated the Arabians 4-1.
