LAPEL — The Lapel wrestlers played host to Centerville and Union City Dec. 19, losing to the former 53-15 but edging the latter 42-39.
Against Centerville, Harrison Hadley (126 pounds) Kyle Shelton (145 pounds), Phoenix Mills (195 pounds) and Cade Mohr (285 pounds) won for the Bulldogs.
Getting wins against Union City were Bryan Rodriguez (113 pounds), Hadley, Eli Michalek (126 pounds), Sparky Manis (132 pounds), Tanner Mroz (138 pounds), Mills and Mohr.
The Bulldogs compete in the Spartan Classic at Connersville Dec. 28-29.
