PENDLETON — Longtime Pendleton Heights assistant coach Matt Vosburgh will be the next head coach of the Arabians baseball program.
South Madison Community School Corp. approved the recommendation of Vosburgh at its a regular meeting Thursday.
Hired in 2012 to the staff of longtime head coach Bill Stoudt, Vosburgh was the head junior varsity coach under Travis Keesling — who resigned this past season — for the past seven seasons.
Vosburgh has been part of three sectional championship teams (2015, 2016, 2018) and two Hoosier Heritage Conference championships (2012, 2017).
He is a 2011 graduate of Purdue University and a 2006 alum of Tri-County High School.
“With the storied history of the program, It’s still sinking in. It’s a pretty cool thing,” Vosburgh said. “I’ve picked up a lot here. Not just from coach Keesling and coach Stoudt, but also from a lot of tremendous assistants we’ve had here.”
